Packing your suitcase can be the most difficult part of your vacation experience, but a summer getaway to our coastal town doesn’t require much in the way of clothing. Summers are sultry and warm and clothing is casual, so toss in those shorts, tees, and sundresses, leaving the long pants and jackets behind. Add a few swimsuits for each traveler in your group, because whether you are swimming in the community pool or are chilling at the beach, you will be spending a lot of time in the water, and do you really want to be seen in the same old suit day after day after day? Sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun hats of some type, baseball hats work fine, are practically required, especially if you don’t want to sport the lobster look that so many other tourists will.
